I just think a genre distinction would make this easier.

Me too, me too ... it is commonly requested but it's been a feature request for years.. hopefully someday it will happen but unfortunately there are more pressing things the coders have on their plate so fringe dressings like this get pushed to the side.. till it happens the best thing is to just ask on the forum for specific band suggestions, like you did...

bluegrass? is string cheese incident count? i was going to say ymsb .. also try for fun 'watson family hour' (the brother and sister from 'nicklecreek'... great fiddle sounds)... also scope out the one show that is here from 'ghost mice'... interesting stuff, not sure if it is what you are looking for but hope it helps..

go to bluegrassbox.com for bluegrass. All are by artists who have allowed taping, many soundboards, going back to the 1940s or so. Hundreds of artists. I'm not on their payroll, but it is a great place. Donate to keep it running if you can.
